Japanese Puzzle Boxes are extremely diverse, but they share one thing in common: they are all absolutely stunning! The MK 5 Sun 21-Step Box is no exception. Wood grains are carefully inlaid into the surface to produce intricate geometric patterns unique to each box. This particular puzzle adds an extra splash of beauty with an image of two birds harmoniously resting on a branch. The box requires, as you might guess, 21 steps to reach the inner sanctum. The objective is to investigate all surfaces and find the wooden panels that must be moved back and forth in the correct order. No force is required; once you have found the pattern, all of the wooden panels will slide smoothly and the lid will glide open on the 21st step.
